Online Privacy Statement

NovaOne, Inc. is committed to safeguarding the personal information we receive from you when you interact with any of our websites and online services (“Services”). This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use and share your personal information when you interact with our Services.

What Personal Information Is Collected

When you use our Services through our website, NovaOne may collect information that directly or indirectly identifies you, including name, address, email address, telephone number(s) and/or fax number. In addition, we may collect the following types of information: 

Device Information - This includes information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, hardware model or version, operating system, unique device identifiers, browser or application configurations, and mobile network information. We may also associate the information we collect from your different devices to help us provide consistent services across your devices. When you use our Services, we may also collect information about your physical location through your mobile device. 

Log Information - We may record details of how you used our Services or how our Services performed, including page views and response times, clickstream data, information about how you navigate through our Services, and which website or application you came from before visiting our Services. 

Performance Measurement - We may also collect other information related to the performance and effectiveness of our Services, including what emails, content and advertising were viewed, advertising data, real time monitoring of technical issues, wait times for customer service, feedback provided, responses to surveys you complete and other measurement information. 

Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies – NovaOne uses cookies, beacons, application agents, pixels and other technologies to provide our Services, enhance your experience with our Services, and to collect the information described above. Cookies are text files that are placed in your computer's browser. Web beacons and pixels are images that may be used with the Services or placed in emails we send you. We may include a web beacon in an email we send you for the purpose of counting the number of people who open the email.

Cookies are set by NovaOne, and we may also allow the placement of cookies or other storage technologies by third-parties, including Facebook, to collect or receive information from the Services and elsewhere on the Internet. These third parties may use the information collected to provide NovaOne measurement services or to deliver ads on their websites that are tailored to your interests.

You can decide if and how your computer will handle cookies and other tracking technologies by configuring your preferences or options in your browser or mobile device settings. However, if you choose to reject all cookies, the Services may not function properly or as desired. How Personal Information is Used

In addition to the uses described above, NovaOne may also use the information collected through the Services to:

  • respond to your inquiries
  • operate our business

  • investigate or prevent fraud or security breaches
  • provide the products and services you request

Any protected health information we may receive through the Services will be handled in accordance with HIPAA

Automated Decision-Making Tools/Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Predictive Models - We may use or process your personal information using automated decision-making tools, artificial intelligence (AI) and/or Predictive Models to improve, develop and provide services. In addition, we may use your personal information to train and improve our AI models and Predictive Models. We will never deny you care or coverage based solely on automated decision-making. Retention of Personal Information - NovaOne retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect NovaOne's legal interests. 

Third Parties

We may share your personal information with entities not affiliated with NovaOne only as described in this Statement.

Service Providers - In addition to the information sharing described above, we may also disclose your personal information to businesses that NovaOne hires to perform services on our behalf, or to support our business operations (e.g., service providers who use cookies or other technologies on our behalf to help operate and measure our Services), and provide you with additional products and services. Service providers may only use your personal information, as instructed by NovaOne, to provide the services that NovaOne has contracted the businesses to perform. 

Partners - We also partner with businesses that operate their own independently run websites, online services or Apps. This allows us to offer a wider array of services and features to NovaOne customers. Unless stated otherwise, these services are not owned or operated by NovaOne and are used pursuant to that business's terms of service and privacy practices. 

Advertising Networks - We may also use third-party advertising networks to serve advertisements on our behalf. The cookies received with the advertisements served by these networks may be used to collect and build behavioral profiles by these companies to deliver targeted advertisements on our websites and websites not affiliated with NovaOne. Legal or business purposes - We may also disclose your personal information to third parties, as allowed or required by law or to protect our interests, for purposes of: 

  • complying with legal processes
    responding to requests from public and government authorities
  • enforcing our terms and conditions, including investigations of potential violations
  • detecting, preventing or otherwise addressing fraud, security or technical issues
  • protecting our rights, privacy, safety or property, and to allow us to pursue available remedies
  • limiting the damages that we may sustain
  • in safety matters or in litigation where the data is pertinent
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of company assets or other business activity in which a review or transfer of personal information is required

We may share non-identifiable or aggregate information with third parties for any lawful purpose.

SMS or Text Messaging - NovaOne offers customers the ability to receive communications via text messaging. By providing your mobile phone number(s) to NovaOne:

You acknowledge and represent to NovaOne that you are the current wireless service plan subscriber and/or an authorized user of the mobile phone number(s) that you provide to the text alert/messages service, or you have been granted permission by the wireless service plan subscriber and/or authorized user of the mobile phone number(s) to enroll the mobile phone number(s) in the service;

You grant NovaOne and its vendors, express permission to send text messages, including automated texts, to the enrolled mobile phone number(s) through your wireless phone carrier unless and until such permission is revoked in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; and
NovaOne makes all reasonable efforts to honor preferences regarding numbers on Do Not Call Lists, unless you override that Do Not Call List designation by providing your phone number. By granting such permission to NovaOne, you are hereby requesting to receive text messages regardless of the fact that your mobile phone number(s) may otherwise be on the federal, or a state’s, Do Not Call List and you agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, your request overrides any prior Do Not Call request for or related to the NovaOne texting program you enroll in. You are not required to agree to receipt of text messages in order to purchase any product or service from NovaOne. If you choose to not provide your mobile number, your program is not impacted, and NovaOne will continue to send important documents regarding your program via your preferences. Depending on the NovaOne program you enroll in, you may receive marketing messages in accordance with any state and federal laws. NovaOne is committed to building user trust and confidence by promoting and complying with the use of business practices that help protect the privacy and the security of the customer and their data.

NovaOne may contact you via text message to provide information or resources on topics including but not limited to the following: Operational alerts/reminders such as billing/payment, claims, coverage, security, digital tools and communication materials, health and wellness tips, and medication reminders. Health-related information provided is not meant to replace professional medical advice. Operational information provided is valid only at the time the text message is sent and may change at a later time.

Automated Technology - NovaOne may use automated technology to deliver text messages to you. By providing your mobile number, you give your consent to NovaOne to use such equipment to deliver automated text messages to the telephone or cell phone number(s) to which you have directed NovaOne to send these text messages.

Pricing - Message and data rates may apply. NovaOne does not charge a fee for text messages, but mobile phone carrier charges may apply. Check with your wireless phone carrier for your plan details. By providing your phone number to NovaOne, you approve any such charges from your mobile carrier. Charges for text messages or data usage may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid balance by your mobile carrier.

Your Choices

Device Location – You can opt-out of location services at any time by adjusting the settings on your mobile device.

To Stop Receiving Text Messages - Text messages can be cancelled at any time by:

Replying STOP from your mobile phone.

When you reply with STOP, you will receive one final confirmation text message from NovaOne saying that you will no longer receive text messages from that number. If you change your preferences through your online customer portal as described above, it may take up to 72 hours for your changed preferences to take effect. During this 72-hour period, you may receive additional text messages from NovaOne. You agree that your prior express consent to receive text messages shall continue indefinitely unless and until you cancel your prior consent.

Interest Based AdvertisingYou can opt-out of interest-based advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices or networkadvertising.org/choices. You may still receive ads from NovaOne, but they will not be tailored to your specific interests. 

Cookies and Similar Technologies – If you do not wish to have your activity on this website tracked, you can opt-out at any time by contacting info@novaonehealth.com.  

You can set your Internet browser to notify you and ask for approval whenever a cookie is being sent to your device. You can also delete a cookie manually from your computer, tablet or smartphone through your Internet browser settings or other programs. In addition, you can have your browser refuse all cookies.

Remember, if you disable all cookies, some features or Services may not work properly. 

Linking to Other Sites and In-App Services

For your convenience, we may provide links to other websites or applications. We do not control third-party websites or applications, and thus, are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Through our Apps, we may offer services that are provided and administered by third parties (3rd Party Services). Your use of the 3rd Party Services will be subject to the terms of use and privacy policies and practices of the third party.

Information Safeguards

We have implemented physical, electronic and procedural controls designed to safeguard your personal information. If you receive correspondence that appears to be from NovaOne, but contains typographical errors, grammatical mistakes or awkward wording, please proceed with caution, as this email may not actually be from NovaOne. We will never send you an email asking you to:

  • click on a link in an email to validate personal or account information
  • open an email attachment, unless you have specifically requested this information from NovaOne
  • download or run a program received via email
  • reply to an email and provide personal information, such as your Social Security Number or username/password to any account
  • confirm or correct information as part of a system change or upgrade
  • provide banking information to claim money won in a contest
  • fill out a customer service survey in exchange for money

If you receive an email with any of these requests, or any other suspicious content, do not respond. Please forward it immediately to info@novaonehealth.com.

Do Not Track

Where required by applicable law, NovaOne recognizes and processes browser-based opt-out preference signals and other universal opt-out mechanisms for targeted advertising and personal data sales. You may adjust your browser settings to prevent cookies from being set.

Children

NovaOne does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age through the Services.

California Residents

If you are a resident of California, you are entitled to the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • The right to know about the personal information a business collects about you and how it is used and shared
  • The right to delete personal information collected from you (with some exceptions)
  • The right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information including via the Global Privacy Control (GPC)
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information that a business has about you
  • The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information collected about you
