As the former Founder & CEO of Whil (now RethinkCare) and President of Headspace, Joe brings extensive industry expertise in scaling digital health platforms, driving innovation in mental health and leading high-growth B2B / B2C SaaS and clinical services businesses. Joe is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and author of Creating Mindful Leaders. At NovaOne, he focuses on transforming behavioral healthcare delivery through a holistic approach to mental wellbeing. 

Brad Wilson is a seasoned technology leader with over 27 years of experience driving innovation and scaling digital platforms. He has held senior leadership roles at Whil, Rethink First, DemandJump and The Ferguson Agency, where he delivered transformative growth and built high-performing engineering organizations. At NovaOne, Brad leverages his expertise in software architecture, agile delivery and AI-driven solutions to advance the company’s mission of transforming behavioral healthcare.

Rachel Goldberg leads client and provider success at NovaOne. Her team ensures that clients maximize value and ROI, while members benefit from our full spectrum of evidence-based preventive and curative behavioral health services – from wellness to serious mental illness care. As a registered clinician, and with a strong background in health plan innovation, Rachel was recognized as one of Managed Healthcare Executive’s Emerging Leaders in 2021 for her groundbreaking work at one of the largest health plans in the nation.

Michael Gibson brings 20+ years of experience leading large-scale healthcare financial operations, specializing in Commercial, Government and Employer group programs. At NovaOne, he oversees end-to-end financial operations, driving execution, strategic excellence and performance improvement. A proven leader in managed care and behavioral health, Michael ensures NovaOne’s solutions are delivered efficiently, equitably and at scale to meet the needs of diverse populations.

Phyllis Crawford is a seasoned healthcare leader with 30+ years of experience across all lines of business at one of the largest health plans in the nation. At NovaOne, she leads behavioral health teams of 300+, and manages large, strategic projects including insourcing, operations and vendor oversight. She has previously held senior roles at Magellan Health Services and Magellan Complete Care. 

Denise Mizell leads behavioral health network strategy and management at NovaOne, bringing 20+ years of experience in building and optimizing provider networks. She previously served as Regional Network Director at Magellan Healthcare and was pivotal in the significant expansion of the behavioral health network at one of the largest health plans in the nation. Denise is committed to expanding access and driving quality through strong, value-based provider partnerships. 

Courtney Johnson leads the marketing and branding efforts at NovaOne, bringing a creative and strategic approach to every initiative. She specializes in crafting compelling content to advance engagement and fuel business growth. She previously served as the Employer Marketing Director at Magellan Healthcare where she developed tailored communication strategies and supported business development initiatives. Courtney thrives on turning complex issues into purposeful, award-winning marketing that serves members, inspires action and drives results.
